About the Company

DACO Semiconductor Co, Ltd. is a global company focusing on the design, manufacture and marketing of high-performance Diode products.

DACO's headquarter had established and based in Taipei Hsien, Taiwan, R.O.C. in 1994. Since the time being, the DACO’s semiconductor devices offer and to be applied in a wide variety electronic devices and products such as PC systems, Automobiles, Telecommunication Systems, and home appliances:

    High Power devices:

l              Input Devices such as diodes, rectifiers and thyristors; and Output Devices such as Schottky and fast recovery diodes

Also with the consumer devices:

l              Standard Recovery Rectifiers, Schottky Diodes, Fast Recovery Rectifiers, Super-Fast & Ultra – Fast Recovery Rectifiers, Ultra – fast Efficient Rectifiers, and Bridge Rectifier Diodes.  

New products creation

DACO Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is a pioneer and innovation manufacturer for wafer fabrication and assembly facilities totaling more than 4000 square meters that based in both of Taiwan and Mainland China.

DACO Semiconductor Co., Ltd. develops new technologies based on its R&D experience and manufacturing excellence. Our R & D team is extending by the growing list of new products (over 100 listed in 2001) that enhanced by our technologies with over 20 patents in our diodes product line.

Quality Assurance 

The Quality Control System is the factor of DACO’s products quality guarantee and to satisfy to meet the customer’s demands.  It has been applied in our complete production with processes, designs, suppliers and products. As the ISO-9002-certified management system is making the DACO staying with a stabilized product quality and On-time shipping schedule to satisfy all of our customers. In some areas, the UL certification approval is to meet the customers’ safety standard with their customer’s satisfaction. “Join UL in showing consumers we care about safety”.          

Technology and Performance:

Jeffery Lin -- the founder of DACO, who comes from the semiconductor research center of National Science Council (Government Organization) in Taiwan. He has years of the prior fabrication experiences on Metal Gat IC process, Poly Gat IC, Power MOS, Power MOS wafer, and Sipos GPP wafer. In addition, he has set up a few wafer factories for some large cooperation. With the excellent R&D experiences, he has been helping DACO in keeping the leading position on technology in the industry of semiconductor such as bridge rectifier, diode modules etc..

For the past years, DACO has been maintaining collaborative relationship with the USA military company in researching, developing, and manufacturing 12A~600A high power rectifier modules of military specification by the ODM bases. Those products are broadly applied to machinery, welding, plating industry, vehicles, yachts, and plenty of other high power devices. Moreover, DACO is their OEM factory in manufacturing and improving quality on aeronautic parts (applied in airplanes). Basing on the outstanding technology and experience in the foresaid field, DACO’s achievement makes itself deserve a good reputation.
